I enjoy working with local non-profits in the Des Moines area to provide a difference in our community. I work with the YMCA to create posters for various events and fundraising campaigns. I also work with the Iowa Agriculture Water Alliance to create marketing materials to advance their mission. Other organizations I work with include the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, as well as the Des Moines Art Center. Designing for non-profits allows me to use my design skills to elevate the messaging of organizations that I personally align with.
The Iowa Agriculture Water Alliance is on a mission to increase the pace and scale of farmer-led efforts to improve water quality in Iowa. I started collaborating with IAWA in early 2022 to help refresh some of their marketing materials. I created engaging infographics, and flyers that would be handed out to the public and a quad-fold brochure to help farmer's understand how they could participate in the program. While I've been working with their brand, I've helped to evolve the brand elements and have created a full length brand guideline to facilitate cohesion going forward.
I collaborate with the VP of Marketing & Communications at the YMCA of Greater Des Moines to create various signage to hang up for special events and fundraisers. I utilize the existing YMCA brand guidelines while adding my own illustrations to create fun and bold designs. These are a few of my favorite posters I've created!
