Podcasts and TV Shows IRL

I've worked on various experiential events to bring entertainment from the screen into real life, to give participants an unforgettable experience. I worked with the amazing folks at Civic Entertainment Group to bring these events to life. I was brought on to work with the creative directors to develop the overall look and feel and apply them to various signage throughout each experience. Below are a few events I worked on in the last year!

DESIGN STRATEGY

Audible X New York Comedy Fest After Party

Audible was a sponsor of the 2022 New York Comedy Fest (NYCF) and to finish off a week full of comedy, Audible hosted the Official Afterparty of NYCF. I collabed with a team at Civic Entertainment Group to create the branding for the event and applied the look to various signage throughout. I wanted the signage to feel lively and fun, and not like Audible advertisements since this was going to be the funniest after party in NYC! Using bright colors, along with some vibrating circle graphics, I incorporated the podcast show art into the window vinyls. I also designed a bold center piece for the DJ backdrop.

Apple TV+ Kids & Family Pop-Up Events

In August, Apple TV+ premiered their new movie Luck and wanted to create a pop-up weekend event at The Grove in L.A. to create excitement about the movie. The amazing team at Civic Entertainment Group designed an immersive experience for kids and adults to enjoy. Inspiration was pulled directly from the movie to create a Penny Depot where participants could trade in their penny for a magical key chain. Attendees also received a four-leaf clover with a detachable stem that they could trade in for a treat of their choice. I was brought into the project to bring all the print and digital pieces to life. I created custom illustrations along with hand drawn typography that was inspired by the show. It was such a fun project!

Apple TV+ Kids & Family Block Party

Apple TV+ has a growing list of family friendly content and to promote these streamable shows, they wanted to create a weekend pop-up block party in LA. I was brought into the project to work with the creative team at Civic Entertainment Group to develop the signage for each booth at the event. The event showcased a series of stations designed to represent a TV show. At each station the kids could dance, draw, surf, play or plant. I designed the signage for each station which included selfie frames for the kids to use for photos.
